Electrical lines at Everhome Suites in Sioux Falls, SD

Project Manager Update: Everhome Suites Sioux Falls, SD

This month, Project Manager Katie shares an inside look at the Everhome Suites project in Sioux Falls—a new extended stay hotel designed for comfort, flexibility, and convenience.

Project Overview:
Everhome Suites Sioux Falls is rising next to the Sanford Sports Complex. The four-story hotel will feature 115 guest rooms, a mix of studio and one-bedroom apartment-style layouts, and amenities designed for both business and leisure travelers.

December Progress:
Throughout December, the team completed several key milestones:

  • Electrical main feeders and branch lines

  • Site utilities: sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and water

  • North-half underslab plumbing

  • Interior strip footings

  • Elevator shaft for the north elevator (E1)

  • North half slab on grade

Where We Are Now:
As we kick off January, the team is moving forward with:

  • South elevator shaft (E1A)

  • South-half underslab plumbing

  • South-half slab on grade

  • First-floor framing

  • Site lighting installation

Katie and the crew are keeping the momentum going into the new year, and we’ll share more updates as the project continues to take shape.

Construction News & Tech: Drones Are Now Standard on Job Sites

Drones have quickly become a standard tool on commercial construction projects—including ours. At Pro Commercial, we use drone technology to get a complete view of our sites, track progress, and spot potential issues before they become problems. Aerial footage helps us keep clients and project teams in the loop with up-to-date visuals and more accurate site documentation.

Drones aren’t just about cool photos—they’re improving safety, speeding up inspections, and making it easier to communicate across teams and with owners, especially on large or complex sites.

Tru by Hilton in Norwalk, IA

Project Spotlight: Tru by Hilton, Norwalk, IA—Now Open!

We’re excited to share that the Tru by Hilton in Norwalk is now open and welcoming guests. After months of planning, coordination, and teamwork, seeing the hotel come to life is a major milestone for everyone involved.

Project Manager Karter Lenning shared what this moment means to the team:

“Seeing guests stay here now makes all the long days worth it. You spend months looking at drawings and schedules, so watching it actually come to life with people enjoying the space is a really good feeling.

What guests probably don’t realize is how many moving parts it takes to open a hotel like this. From inspections to final punch items, there’s a lot that has to line up just right in the final stretch.

This project doesn’t open without a strong team. Huge credit goes to the crew in the field, our trusted trade partners, and our Senior Site Superintendent, Ron Todd — everyone pulled together to get this across the finish line.”
